OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring aSecurity Managerto support our newly awarded customer contract. This position will be fully remote within the United States.ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects on time, within scope, and budget.Define project objectives, scopes, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.Coordinate and lead regular meetings, providing project updates to stakeholders, senior management, and clients.Collaborate with security teams to identify and analyze potential cybersecurity risks, developing mitigation strategies as part of each project.Stay updated on current and emerging cybersecurity threats and ensure project initiatives address these areas.Align projects with cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).QualificationsBachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience8 years of cyber security experienceClearance Required: Must have an active HUD Public TrustCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
