Job Title: Care Manager Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating day/evening/night - 8x5 - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty; 12 months of current inpatient/acute care experience License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Must-Have: EPIC experience required; Xsolis experience preferred Job Description: - Serve as a UR Case Manager/Care Coordinator with a requirement to adhere to a geographical radius rule. - Experience in inpatient/acute care is essential. - Must be a team player and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. - Complete at least one previous 13-week travel assignment. - Work shifts may start at 8:00 AM and fluctuate based on department staffing needs. - Availability to work weekdays, with rotation on weekends and holidays potentially required. - Responsible for floating within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles, according to department need. - Will not be assigned to the same schedule or shifts when traveling in pairs. - Participate in a week-long orientation, including EPIC training, not exceeding 40 hours. - Scrubs are required but not provided by the facility. - No holiday requested time off will be approved for travelers. - Note that travelers must have a gap of at least 12 months since any previous employment with the healthcare system.
