• Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Traveler must pass a Dysrhythmia exam during the first week of assignment; Travelers that do not pass the test will be dismissed.

  • 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit required.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • Will float to med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.
  • Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
    • Job Requirements
    • Active NM or compact license.
    • At least two references (one must be from current manager).
    • 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit.
    • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour night shift position
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
          • The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
