• Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during the first week of assignment.

  • Neuro tele (APC 1/7B) RN75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS

  • When submitting candidates include at least two references, a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour day shift position
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
      • Will float to med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.
      • Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

        • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
        • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
        • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
