Job Description:
Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive
Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.Job
Description & Requirements
2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed
telemetry/progressive care unit required.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel
assignment.
At alternate location-Will float to med/surg. Will float to ICU to
care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care
for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS
and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association,
American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment.
Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
On call, weekends and holidays required. Travelers are first to
float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of
permanent assigned location.
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or
sameshifts.
Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5/6 if needed based on acuity of patients.
SCRUBS: Required and NOT provided bythe facility. White scrub top.
Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, huntergreen or black.
Additional Information: NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR
