Please note time off requests must be disclosed withinitial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after theacceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. DESCRIPTION : 2 years' experience current required ina 12 plus bed cardiac critical care and/or intensive care unit required. Openheart, LVAD, balloon pump experience preferred. Must be a team player, flexibleand accustomed to fast paced environment. CERTS : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLSmust be completed through American Heart Association, American Health andSafety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler mustpass the BCA (basic cardiac arrythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed. SHIFTS : 12 hour NIGHT shift position. Start time 1900 Weekends 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule period and Holidays required per PH policy - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to floatwithin facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules orsame shifts. At alternate location-Will float to progressive care unit and med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Will float to CC/TELE/MS areas.
