Job Details
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech/Certified
Department: Cath Lab
Position Summary: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.
Experience: One year radiologic experience required and one year interventional or cath lab experience preferred.
Skills: Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.
Schedule Information
- Shift: 7am-1730, 4/10hr shifts

Additional Details
Environment: Bloodborne pathogen - C. Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation. Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.
Physical Requirements: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
