Job Title: Dental Assistants
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 (Rotate as needed to Two Outlying Clinics)
Start Date: May 2025
Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 40 hours per week

Qualification:

Education: Graduate of a CODA accredited dental assistant program
Certification: CDA certificate from Dental Assistant National Board, BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience as a Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist with chairside dental procedures in general dentistry.
Record treatments and clinical notes in Dentrix.
Sterilize, clean, and store dental instruments properly.
Prepare patients and operatories for procedures.
Operate dental X-ray equipment for intra and extra-oral imaging.
Assist with prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealant application.
Perform basic dental lab tasks, including model trimming and occlusal guard fabrication.
Take and record patient blood pressure.
Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
