Services summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) at Presbyterian Home Healthcare is
responsible for evaluating and developing treatment programs for
patients in home settings. They advocate for patients, instruct
caregivers, and collaborate with various healthcare disciplines to
ensure coordinated care and successful discharge goals. The
position requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and
NM Licensure, with a focus on promoting patient self-management and
participation in their care process.
Overview: Presbyterian Home Healthcare is seeking a skilled
Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team! - In this role you
will evaluate and establish treatment program and provide
occupational therapy and instruct care givers, Presbyterian Home
Health staff, and patient in treatment program and safe Activities
of Daily Livings in patients home. -This includes promoting
client/caregiver ability for self-determination and care,
optimizing their participation in this process and optimizing
outside resource utilization to achieve self-management. The
Occupational Therapist is responsible for coordinating and
communicating with various disciplines or services involved in
client care and coordinating their efforts toward discharge goals
established at onset and during course of care. Is a patient

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Occupational TherapyNM
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist -One-year experience in
supervised clinical practice in acute care or rehab setting
preferred. Basic typing competency preferred. Need to have current
drivers license, Basic Life Support Certification, as well as auto
