  Job Overview:
  We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit in Albuquerque, NM. This is a 13-week contract assignment offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on providing care for mothers and newborns.
  
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Monitor and assess labor progress and fetal well-being.
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on prenatal and post-natal care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
    • Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific or compact).
      Required Certifications (must be current and valid):
      • BLS (Basic Life Support)
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
