advanced patient care within State approved scope of practice in
pre-hospital, urgent care and emergency department settings.
Receives emergency medical telephone calls, urgent care calls and
to dispatch medical ambulance crews to designated PHS locations to
provide emergency care to injured or ill
patientsQualifications:Other information:All Locations: High school
or GED plus trade or vocational school in paramedicine. Current NM
Paramedic License required. National EMT License preferred. Ability
to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is
required. 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred.Current
CPR and ACLS is required at the time of hire.Ability to type 20 wpm
preferred.ED/UC: Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred. 2
years ED patient care experience including triage experience
preferredUPDATED: 5/9/2018Associates degree (any field of study)
AND 10 yrs. direct patient care Paramedic experience OR Bachelors
degree (any field of study)Education:Essential:* Associate
